Spooky Swing Spectacular with Zizania Swing
This month we are having a Halloween dance featuring live music from Zizania Swing. We encourage everyone to dress up and participate in the costume contest for a chance to win some neat prizes!
Social dances are the bread and butter for continuing to build our amazing swing dance community. We will always have a beginner lesson at the start of the night. If applicable, we will also run a beginner plus or intermediate class in parallel if there is enough demand on the night. No partner is needed, and all experience levels are welcome.

Events This Week
NoCo Swing Progressive Lessons, Beginner Lindy Hop
Class 1 is for anyone looking to learn and build confidence with the fundamentals of swing dancing. We’ll explore basic 6- and 8-count footwork, leading and following, and the skills that help you feel relaxed dancing with different partners and confident on the social dance floor. Along the way, we’ll introduce the connection, movement, and playfulness at the heart of Lindy Hop. October progressives will be taught by Martin and Cara. Read more about them here.

NoCo Swing Progressive Lessons, Intermediate Lindy Hop
Class 2 is for swing dancers who have a solid feel for the basic footwork and are comfortable with leading and following. We’ll explore more complex shapes and footwork, play with improvisation and musicality, and develop more subtle ways of connecting and communicating with a dance partner. October progressives will be taught by Martin and Cara.

Progressive Lesson Series with Kevin & Beth – Charleston
The current series of progressive lessons taught by Kevin and Beth this fall is focusing on the Charleston. This class introduces foundational single steps and triple steps, turns, shapes, and patterns that can easily be led and followed in various combinations to fill an evening of dancing. Progressive Lesson Series with Kevin & Beth – Swing Outs
The next series of progressive lessons taught by Kevin and Beth this fall will focus on swing outs. The swing out is the most iconic dance step in Lindy Hop. It involves partners rotating around one another with a blend of single steps and triple steps. The class will work on foundational elements first and then build into performing swing outs.
